Letter: Tournament for a Good Cause

To the Editor:

On behalf of Commander David Churchill and the members of Jeffery S. Holmes American Legion Post 84 in White River Junction, I’d like to thank the many friends and businesses that made our recent golf tournament a great success. Thanks also to Valley News staff writer Greg Fennell for letting people know about the event with an advance newspaper brief and to Don Mahler for his wonderful write-up on the $25,000 hole-in-one story.

We greatly appreciate all of the area golf courses for their gifts and support. The success of our fundraising for children and youth projects and to assist veterans and their families could not have been achieved without you.
