Key players: White River Valley — Brayden Russ, Wyatt Cadwell, Joey Ferris, Zander Clark, Jayden Armstrong

Highlights: Russ was 2-for-4 and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to push the Wildcats to a walk-off win over Proctor on Tuesday night. Jacob Benoit was 1-for-3 with a run scored, Cadwell was 2-for-3 with a double, and Joey Ferris scored for WRV and threw three innings on the mound, giving up two hits, three runs and striking out four. Issac Wimett scored a run for the ’Cats. Clark threw three innings for WRV, striking out five, and Cadwell threw the final inning, striking out one.

Key players: Thetford — Rebecca Osgood, Mckayla Stanley, Lailyana Benjamin, Bella Murphy; Lake Region — Ava Stevens (pitched five innings, struck out 10)

Highlights: This game was a battle from the start. Osgood went 3-for-4 on the day, with the biggest blow coming in the third inning in the form of a two-run triple. The game was tied in the top of the seventh when Benjamin singled, scoring one run, followed by Murphy with a single, scoring one run to extend the lead to 8-6. The Panthers allowed one run to score in the bottom of the seventh but held the lead for win. Stanley got the win, allowing three earned runs with five strikeouts over seven innings.

Highlights: The Jacks scored five runs in the fourth to take a three-run lead but gave up four in the sixth. Brianna Barton went 1-for-1 with three walks and two runs scored. Mackenzie Kleefisch was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. And on top of her usual strong play behind the plate, Clark was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.
