Dana “Buster” Roy Wilcox, Sr.

Hanover, N.H. — Dana “Buster” Roy Wilcox, Sr., 81, passed away in the comfort of his home on Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was born in Strafford, Vt. on March 1, 1933, to the late Roy & Margaret (Porter) Wilcox. He attended schools in Strafford and later enlisted with the U.S. Air Force. During his enlistment he served in both Korea and Japan. Following his honorable discharge he returned home and began working on the Wilder Dam Project. Over the years he had worked for various companies as a driller & blaster. Buster was married to Cleo Gilson, she predeceased him. He later remarried Joyce Tobin and she also predeceased him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and going for a ride to nowhere.

He is survived by his children, Marcia Berquist, Brad Crawford, Darlene Edwards, Dana Wilcox Jr., Randy Wilcox, and Scott Wilcox; his brothers and sisters, Myrtle Jenkins, Dolly Griswold, Walter Wilcox, Winnie Barksdale, Ernie Wilcox and Theresa Campbell; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Wilcox and Earl Wilcox and a sister, Lois Grimaldi, a grandson Westley Ryan Crawford.

Family and friends are invited to the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon Today, March 11, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for calling hours. An announcement will be published in the spring for a graveside service at the Lakeview Cemetery in Enfield.
