Wedding: Parker — Carroll
Lyme — Charlotte Ames Parker and Nathan Carroll were married on May 31, 2014, in Lyme.
The bride is the daughter of Virginia Louise Beggs and Douglas Gest, of Meriden, and Henry Worth Parker and Mary-Margaret Andrews, of Norwich. She graduated from Hanover High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and French from Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pa., in 2005. She earned a master’s degree in social work from Smith College of Social Work in Northampton, Mass., in 2011. The bride is employed as a licensed independent clinical social worker at Lahey Health in Lynn, Mass.
The bridegroom is the son of Susan Wolfgram Carroll and Edward Robert Carroll Jr., of Marblehead, Mass. He graduated from Marblehead High School in 1998 and earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2002. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Salem State University in Salem, Mass., in 2009. The bridegroom is employed as a manager for research finance at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
The wedding and reception was held at the Loch Lyme Lodge in Lyme on May 31, 2014. The bride was given away by her father and the ceremony was performed by the bride’s uncle, Andrew Heifetz. The flower girl was Lilian Heifetz and the ring bearer was Alexander Heifetz.
The couple honeymooned in Quebec. They make their home in Salem, Mass.
