Letter: We Must Accept Limits on Gun Ownership
To the Editor:
“Live Free or Die” doesn’t ring true any more. “Live Free and Die” pertains to us more. We must accept limits to our freedom to own semiautomatic weapons. It is not a question of either better detection of mental illness or eliminating these guns. The time is sadly here for both. Ill people will continue to slip past detection. Semiautomatic weapons must be taken out of circulation and be unavailable to them.
