Wedding: Thompson — D’Ausilio
Cornish — Morgan E. Thompson and Christopher M. D’Ausilio were married on June 29, 2013.
The wedding took place at Quimby Country in Averill, Vt. in a ceremony presided over by Robert Gere, a justice of the peace and friend of the bride’s family. During the ceremony, the couple’s sisters performed an a cappella duet.
The bride was escorted by her parents. The bride’s sister, Kate Thompson, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cori Anderson, the bridegroom’s sister, Kassel Fotinos-Hoyer, Maria Concepcion, Rebecca Meseroll and Jennifer Taylor.
Christopher Pannone was the best man. Groomsmen were Mark Bevis, Kevin Pusitari, Brett Anderson, Bryan Crouch and Michael Hyman.
The bride is the daughter of Mariann and Richard Thompson, of Cornish. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Boston University in 2005. She received a doctorate in biochemistry from Dartmouth College in 2013 and is employed as a biology teacher at The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, N.J.
The bridegroom is the son of Terrie and David D’Ausilio, of Stratford, Conn. He graduated from Masuk High School in Monroe, Conn., in 2000 and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at American University in Washington, D.C., in 2004. He is employed as a general manager at Regus in Bridgewater, N.J.
The couple honeymooned in Isle Mujares, Mexico. They make their home in Bridgewater.
