Lebanon Post 22 Steamrolls Keene Post 4, 8-0
Lebanon — Still in contention for a playoff berth in the New Hampshire tournament, the Lebanon Post 22 American Legion baseball team rolled past Keene Post 4 8-0 on Friday night behind the three-hit pitching of Joe Cravero, who won his third straight game.
Cravero allowed three hits and struck out 11 over six innings. Liam Gantrish relieved and threw two hitless innings.
Post 22 (7-8) scored four runs apiece in the second and third innings to put the game away. The bottom four batters in the order — Alex Wesoja, Jeff Quimby, Rohan Kumar and Jordy Levin — were a combined 4-for-8 with three walks and five runs scored.
Cam Blewitt stole two bases and drove in two runs, and Cyrus Rothwell-Ferraris scored twice and drove in two runs. Cravero had a double and a walk, and he was also hit by a pitch.
Post 22 is back in action today as Bedford comes to town.
Touchline V 2, Hartford Jrs. 1
Wilder — Jamie Tinulous’s penalty kick late in the second half lifted Touchline V (11-4) past Hartford Juniors (8-2-2) in New Hampshire Soccer Conference action.
A.J. Barre also scored for Touchline, assited by Tinulous.
Touchline keeper Connor Edson made nine saves while backing the defense of Colby Richardson and Gwynn Grazino-MacKenzie. Touchline hosts Pembroke on Sunday.
Camp in Norwich
Norwich — The Upper Valley Rising Stars Lacrosse Camp for U13 and U15 players will be held from Monday through Thursday at Huntley Meadows in Norwich. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. all four days.
