Jesse J. Davis, Jr.
Woodstock, Vt. — Jesse J. Davis, Jr., 46, a longtime Upper Valley resident passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 26, 1967, in Killeen, Texas, to the late Jesse J. Davis, Sr. & Sherrill Greenwood.
Jesse worked as a chef; he cooked for Murphy’s On The Green, The 99 Restaurant and The Fort. Everyone loved him for his cooking. He enjoyed playing golf and poker with his friends, and was a fan of NASCAR; his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. A fan of football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, he was known to some as the Couch Coach. Most of all Jesse was a fan of his children; he loved them dearly, he enjoyed spending time with them and playing video games; and spending time with his fiancée.
Jesse leaves behind his two children, Hunter and Kayla Davis both of Enfield, N.H.; his fiancée Lisa Pollard of Woodstock; his former wife Angela Lange and mother of his children of Enfield; and his siblings.
Family and friends are invited to memorial calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to benefit his children, Hunter and Kayla Davis, may be made to the Jesse J. Davis, Jr. Memorial Fund at any Mascoma Savings Bank location.
