Ethel Mary (Martin ) Pfenning
Springfield, Vt. — Ethel Mary (Martin ) Pfenning, 65, passed away Tuesday morning Oct. 22, 2013, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. She was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Claremont, N.H. the daughter of Charles William and Lillian Alice (Laporte) Martin.
She was employed at Jones and Lamson Machine Tool Company in Springfield, Vt. for several years and for the past 20 years was employed as an Inspector with Mack Molding in Cavendish, Vt.
Ethel was a doll maker and enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by one son, Preston Pfenning and his wife, Justine of Springfield, Vt., three grandchildren, Jordon, Faith and Alex. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ethel was predeceased by her brother, Charles, and by two sisters, Marie and Nancy.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield. Reverend Ken White of Windsor will officiate.
