Wedding: Joy — Clarkson
Lebanon — Amy Marie Joy and Carmen Clarkson were married on Oct. 12, 2013.
The wedding took place at the Wilder Center and was presided over by the Rev. Patricia Thompson. Amy Marie Joy was escorted by her parents. Carmen Clarkson was given away in marriage by her mother.
Jessie Wright was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Megan Goodrich, Missy Kilmer, Ashley Joy, Amanda Sheeran and Tiffany Currier. Flower girls were Addison O’Neil and Isabella Currier.
Brian Zola was best man. Groomsmen were Terence O’Neil, Travis Clarkson, Andy Friedland, Jaye Langlois and Emily Brock. Maxwell Smart and Tavian Kilmer were ring bearers.
A reception followed at the Elks Club in Hartford.
Amy Marie Joy is the daughter of Marie Joy, of South Royalton, and Scott Joy, of Scottia, N.Y.
She graduated from South Royalton High School in 2006 and is employed as a cook at Village Pizza in Lebanon.
Carmen Clarkson is the daughter of Roxanne Zola, of White River Junction, and Darrell Clarkson,of Pomfret.
She graduated from Hartford High School in 2004 and studied nursing at the University of New England in Portland, Maine.
She is employed as a licensed nursing assistant in Inpatient Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Mexico. They live in Lebanon.
