Edward Roy La Bombard

Enfield, N.H. — Edward Roy La Bombard, 70, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He was born on June 21, 1943, and was raised by Harold & Rita (Castonguay) Martin. Ed grew up in Lebanon and began work at an early age. Over the years he worked for the Baltic Woolen Mill, Door Woolen Mill, WD Cabot Woodstock, Vt., G&J Floor Covering and later his own business Enfield Floor Covering. He was married to Christine (Goerke) La Bombard. He enjoyed the outdoors where he hunted and fished.

He is survived by his son, Matthew La Bombard and his wife, Symanie (Purcell) of Enfield; a daughter, Sarah La Bombard of Enfield; his siblings, Marie Guerin of Enfield, Lorraine Mousley of South Strafford, Vt., Ronald La Bombard of Etna, N.H. and Albert Martin of Maine. He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Carole La Bombard; and a brother, Andrew Martin.

Family and friends are invited to the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. for memorial calling half hour. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Enfield.
