Gloria M. Gerrish
Enfield, N.H. — Gloria M. Gerrish, 89, passed away peacefully at her daughter Debra’s home Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, James M. Gerrish. She leaves her five children, James and his wife, Corre of Walpole, Mass., Gregory and his wife, Cheryl of Worcester, Mass., Karen of Enfield, Debra of Canaan, N.H. and Cameron and his wife, Victoria of Norton, Mass.; as well as 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Gloria was born in Hancock, Maine. She grew up in Maine and graduated from Bangor High School in 1941. Gloria later married and moved to East Walpole, Mass. where she raised her family. She was a home maker first and also worked in the electronics industry.
Gloria was a kind and loving soul who always thought of her loved ones above all else. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing card games and her summers on Crystal Lake in Enfield. Gloria was a devoted mother, who will be greatly missed by her children, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at the Ricker Funeral Home, 56 School Street, Lebanon, N.H. from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. A memorial service is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
