Liberty Utilities Customers’ Rate to Increase This Winter

Lebanon — The New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission has approved Liberty Utilities’ request for a winter energy charge rate increase, which could see the typical residential customer’s electric bill soar by more than $50. The increase in the energy charge from 7.7 cents per kilowatt-hour to 15.4 cents kwh would prompt the average household’s monthly electric bill to rise from $110 to $162. The rate increase takes effect Nov. 1. …
