Bullying Discussion Set for Monday at Hartford High School
Hartford — A community discussion of bullying and cyberbullying is set for Monday, at 6:30 p.m., in the Hartford High School gym.
Adults and students are invited to attend, and child care will be provided.
The meeting will include an overview of local efforts to combat bullying and cyber bullying, tips for talking with adolescents about bullying, and small group discussions about how to decrease bullying.
“Bullying and cyberbullying are problems that impact all of us,” organizers of the meeting said in a recent news release.
“A collaborative effort among community members is essential to understanding bullying (and) cyberbullying and shifting to a culture of compassion and respect.”
The event is sponsored by We-Care Hartford and members of the Hartford Multi-Agency Community Council.
