Peter A. Stern , of Lyme, has been named senior investment management consultant in the Consulting Group of Morgan Stanley. Stern, who works in the Lebanon branch office was recognized for his achievements as a financial adviser within the firm’s wealth management group. Stern joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 as a financial adviser and is a 20-plus-year veteran of the financial services industry. He earned an MBA degree at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth as well as a bachelor’s degree from Brown University. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation.

The Lebanon-based accounting and professional services firm of Tyler, Simms & St. Sauveur has announced a number of personnel changes.

E rnest R. Tyler, of New London, has been named managing partner. Tyler, a certified public accountant, is the founding member of the firm and has been with the firm since its inception in 1987.

S cott J. Barden, of Lebanon, has returned to the firm as chief operating officer. Additionally, he will also be functioning as a senior manager providing assurance and business consulting services. A certified public accountant, he started with the firm in 1995.

Raquel Chase-Kelly , of Lebanon, Leah Sackett , of Grantham, and Lisa M. Weeks, of Enfield, members of the firm’s employee benefit plan department, have completed the Retirement Plan Fundamentals certification program through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries. Chase-Kelly and Sackett have been with the firm since 2011 and Weeks has been with the company since 1988. R ebecca Beaulieu , of Woodstock, has received the Enrolled Agent certification. Beaulieu has a bachelor of arts degree in marketing and finance from Simmons College. She has been with Tyler, Simms since 2009.

Lisa M. Gnatek, of Claremont, has joined Tyler, Simms as a tax manager/supervisor. Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior tax manager at Ernst & Young. Gnatek is a certified public accountant. She received her master’s degree in taxation from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., and her bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in finance from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

Sarah L. Lounsbury, of Cornish, has joined the firm as a staff accountant. Lounsbury graduated from Siena College with her master of science in accounting. Sarah received her certified public accountant license this fall.

A llison M. Jangel, of Enfield, has joined the firm as a staff accountant. Jangel has a bachelor of science in accounting and a bachelor of arts in music from Plymouth State University.

J ohn P. Rancourt, of Lebanon, has joined the firm as a staff accountant. John received a degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire.

Barbara S. Murphy, of Charlestown, has joined the firm as an administrative assistant. She previously served as an administrative assistant for West Central Services Inc. Murphy received an associate degree in business from Bay Path College.

G regori W. Somoff, CPA, of Hanover, has joined the firm as a supervisor. A certified public accountant, Somoff was a tax preparer at Cady & Hoar and he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California.

Justin L. Loati, of Enfield, has been promoted to manager. Loati graduated from Vermont Technical College with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering technology. He has been with the firm since 2005.

M istie B. Russell, of Royalton, has been promoted to supervisor. Russell has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Champlain College. A certified public accountant. She has been with the firm since 2007.

K yle M. Potter, of West Lebanon, has been promoted to Senior I and has recently passed the certified public accountant exam. Potter received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in history from Saint Michael’s College. He has been with the firm since July 2011.

A mber N. Torrey, of Enfield, has been promoted to supervisor. Torrey is a certified public accountant. She interned with the firm during the summer of 2007 and, after graduating from Bryant University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 2008, joined the firm full-time.
