Lake Sunapee Bank Assistant Vice President Dean Cashman, of Lebanon, has been promoted to mortgage loan officer, the bank announced last week.

Cashman began his career at Lake Sunapee eight years ago as a small business banker in the Upper Valley region, becoming manager of that department in 2009. He spent a year working as a commercial credit analyst and most recently held the position of commercial loan officer, working out of the South Street branch in Hanover. He will continue serving his current commercial customers, as well as originating mortgage and home equity loans and lines of credit in the Upper Valley.

Cashman holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Providence College, as well as a MBA with a certificate in investment and finance from Plymouth State University.
