Alice Peck Day Names New President and CEO
Lebanon — Susan E. Mooney has been named president and chief executive officer at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital.
Mooney, who has served as the hospital’s chief medical officer since 2010, takes over for Harry G. Dorman III, who will remain as president and chief executive officer of APD’s Healthcare System and Lifecare until his retirement in the spring.
Mooney, who joined APD in 2000 as an obstetrician/gynecologist, has served in a variety of leadership positions. Prior to being appointed chief medical officer, she temporarily left active practice to obtain a master’s degree in quality improvement from the Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth College, and to complete a Veterans Affairs National Quality Scholars Fellowship.
Mooney received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of New Mexico Medical Center at Albuquerque. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
