Etna — Panitta Plianumpai and Courtland Ross Brannen were married on Feb. 14, 2014, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The bride, who lives in Cambridge, Mass., is the daughter of Atichol and Prathana Plianumpai, of Bangkok. She attended Rajinee Bon., in Bangkok, for high school studies and earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. The bride went on to earn a master’s degree in public administration from Framingham (Mass.) State University. She is employed as the Bangkok Air Support Coordinator for Grand Circle/Overseas Adventure Travel in Boston.

The bridegroom, a resident of Cambridge, Mass., is the son of Richard and Margaret Brannen, of Etna. He graduated from Hanover High School in 1992 and earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., in 1997. He is employed as a sales manager at Vantage Travel in Boston.

The Buddhist ceremony took place over the course of three days in Bangkok. Sean Ryan served as best man. Both the bride and bridegroom wore traditional Thai wedding attire. The reception took place on the Angsana Cruise Boat and included a river cruise.

The couple honeymooned in Phuket, Thailand. They reside in Cambridge, Mass.
