Orford Man Is Named to Board of Granite United Way

Lebanon — Gordon Ehret, of Orford, has joined the Granite United Way board of directors.

Ehret is a project manager at Hypertherm and chairman of the company’s philanthropy team. He formerly served on United Way’s Grant Review Committee and in 2011, he joined the Community Impact Committee, the volunteer team that determines where United Way campaign funds will be directed locally.

He was co-chairman of the Hypertherm United Way campaign from 2008 to 2011.

“He exhibits a true dedication to his community and an interest in improving the lives of individuals and families in the Upper Valley.” Patrick Tufts, president and CEO of Granite United Way said in a news release last week.

“His enthusiasm for working together for the common good makes him an asset to our Board of Directors.”
