Harriet F. Lear
West Lebanon, N.H. — Harriet F. Lear, 72, of West Lebanon, died on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center following a short Illness. She was born on September 7, 1940, in Pittsfield, N.H., the daughter of Alfred and Barbara (Small) Wyman, attended schools in Lebanon and Enfield, and lived most her life in Lebanon and Rutland, Vt. She worked a variety of Jobs, including Tony’s Café, Alice Peck Day Hospital, Fort Harry’s Truck Stop, Genesis Eldercare in Lebanon, Price Chopper in West Lebanon and the Midway Diner in Rutland. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and word games and was a regular attendee at Upper Valley Senior Center luncheons in Lebanon, where she enjoyed the company of her many friends.
She is survived by her five sons; Roger Carroll of Claremont, Lloyd Carroll of West Lebanon, David Carroll and his wife, Cheryl, of Lebanon, Leland Tibbits and his wife, Terri Templeton, of Windsor, and James Tibbits of Rutland; and by one daughter, Lisa Lear and her husband, Daniel, of Chittenden, Vt.; by a son-in-law, Perry McPhee; by two sisters, Ruth Longley of West Canaan and Winona Brown of Midland, Va., and two brothers; Lloyd Wyman of Swanzey, N.H., and Donald Wyman of Canaan; and by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren ; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Peggy McPhee of West Rutland, Vt., in 2006.
