Lebanon, N.H. — Long-time Lebanon resident Cecile Emma Beauregard Jarry passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at the Lebanon Center (Genesis) in Lebanon.

She was born Sept. 28, 1915, in Eastman, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Isidore & Octavie (Payette) Beauregard. She came to the U.S. with her family when she was six months old, graduating from Lebanon High School in 1937. She was married in 1940 to Dominique Jarry (who predeceased her in 1972).

She worked in the cafeteria in the Lebanon School system for many years and later volunteered at the Lebanon Senior Center as well as singing in the Sacred Heart choir for over 50 years. She was also very active in the Catholic Daughters in Lebanon and was a volunteer and donor for many years for Red Cross blood drives.

She is survived by two daughters, Marion Stearns, and husband Jon, of Lebanon, Regina Laraway, and husband Bryan, of Lyme; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Corinne Carr (2006) and son, Robert Jarry (1987) as well as siblings, Sister Isadora (Corinne Beauregard), Bernadette (Bunny) Young, Antoinette Belisle, Laurette McShea, and Ernest Beauregard. Her connection with her family, both in the U.S. and Canada remained strong throughout her life.

We would like to thank the staff at Lebanon Center Genesis for taking such great care and showing so much love for Cecile since her arrival in April 2010. We also thank Bayada (Hospice) for the wonderful care and support.
