Submit a Letter

We encourage our readers to write to the Forum to comment on matters of general public interest. We consider for publication nearly all submissions, regardless of their politics, providing they are in good taste, are signed by the author and address a subject of broad concern. We do not consider letters that have been prepared as mass mailings by organizations and then submitted by individuals. When the volume of mail on a particular subject is large, we seek to provide a representative sampling of opinions. To keep the Forum open to all, we request that you limit letters to 350 words and that you write no more often than once every two weeks. Submissions must include the writer's name, address and a daytime telephone number for verification. All letters are subject to editing.
