Cooper, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society
“I am 6-year-old Cooper and I am a volunteer favorite! Everyone loves me, so no one can understand why I am still here.
“My mom had recently adopted me from another humane society but then had to move. Unfortunately, the new living arrangements did not work for me. So here I am. I am a nice boy!
“I am vet checked, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative.”
Cooper is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.
Hazel, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name’s Hazel and I’m a 6-year-old spayed female. I was originally adopted from Lucy Mackenzie as a tiny little kitten years ago, but came back when my adopter moved and couldn’t take me with them.
“I love being around other cats, people and treats! As you can see, I’m a larger girl, but that doesn’t mean I’m not playful and frisky. I love to play, give head-butts and lots of love.
“I have allergies that I’ve dealt with my entire life, and things have been made better by a diet change recently. I also take a pill every other day and some eye drops daily, but it’s all very easy to do. I’m a highly cooperative cat!
“If you’ve been looking for an adorable bundle of love that promises to bring lots of joy to your life, stop in and meet me today.”
Hazel is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
Mau Mau, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society
“Hi, my name is Mau Mau. I’m a gentle 9-year-old guy. I like to spend my time lounging in bed, but I’ll come to you to say hello.
“I can be a little nervous around people I don’t know, so please be patient with me. I’m a total snuggle bug once I'm comfortable, and I’m chatty, too!
“I rely on other cats for support, so the staff here says it’s important for me to go to a home with one. If you’d like a loving boy, come snatch me up today.”
Mau Mau is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.
