Esther B. Boucher
Hudson, N.H. — Esther B. Boucher (Daneault), 94, of Hudson, N.H., died Friday, Dec. 6th, 2013, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H., surrounded by her loving family.
Esther was born on Oct. 24, 1919, in Suncook, N.H., daughter of the late Edouard and Regina (Maynard) Daneault. Esther was also predeceased by her loving husband of more than 45 years in 1989, the late Postmaster Roger L. Boucher; her son, Dennis Boucher (2002); and a sister, Jeannette Lajoie.
Esther was a past president of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, a supervisor of the checklists in Hudson, and belonged to St. John’s Ladies Guild and Bereavement Committee. She was also active in the Hudson Seniors.
Esther is survived by two sons, Paul Boucher and wife Karen, of Lebanon, N.H., and Gerald Boucher and wife Kathleen, of Hudson; a daughter, Diane Bowen and husband Thomas, of Hudson; 11 grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Stephanie Boucher, Keith, Kevin and Kenneth Bowen, Kerry Fain, Daniel, Michael and Joseph Boucher and Corie Bliss; 18 great-grandchildren, Asya, Mailee, Giovanni, Ella, Adara, Corvin, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Madelynn, Michaella, Nathan, Jake, John, Ashlynne, Celia, Dylan and Elizabeth; and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 13th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Blessed John the XXIII Parish at St. John the Evangelist Church, 27 Library St., Hudson. All To Meet At Church. Burial will take place following in St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua. The family has requested that any donations be made to Hudson Senior Center, c/o Rec.
