Dennis Michael White

Hanover, N.H. — Dennis Michael White, 70, of Lebanon, N.H., formerly of White River Jct., Vt., died on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Hanover Terrace Nursing Facility.

He was the son of Harold and Laura White of White River Jct.

He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Read of Lebanon, and Carolyn Kriplin of West Lebanon; the mother of their children, Sandra White of West Lebanon; a sister, Geraldine White Gosselin and husband, Larry Gosselin of Venice, Fla.; grandchildren, Nathan and Jake Kriplin, of West Lebanon, Hannah and Joshua Read of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Anita Jones of Wilder, Vt.; cousin, Margaret Faneuf of Epsom, N.H.; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Patricia White Kivler, and a brother, James J. White.

Dennis was known by many in the Upper Valley when he worked at Tip Top Bakery, drove fuel truck for Sanborn Oil Co., bartended for the Hartford Elks and the White River VFW, and worked in maintenance at Kendal of Hanover. He had many friends at Quail Hollow.

He was an avid Red Sox fan, with the ability to quote statistics that most of us had forgotten. He enjoyed watching the old westerns on TV, especially the Lone Ranger, Bonanza, and Gunsmoke.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lebanon. Burial to follow in West Lebanon Cemetery.
