Mildred J. Hayes
Enfield, N.H. — Mildred J. Hayes, 86, born June 20, 1927, died of Cancer, peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She lived in Enfield all her life and taught at Hanover Richmond School for 30 plus years until her retirement. She was fondly known by her friends as Millie. Millie was very active in many volunteer programs including RSVP, patient transport, and Meals on Wheels. One of her enjoyments (hates) was her twice weekly Bone Builders Group.
Although never married she will be missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Arnold Evans of Connecticut; her sister-in-law, Marjorie Hayes of Enfield; and nieces and nephews: Pat (Hayes) Kosdan, Nancy (Hayes) Braley, Dotty (Hayes) Mason, Bill Evans and Bob Evans; and her many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William (Sonny) Hayes; and son-in-law David Braley.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 21, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Enfield. Committal prayers will be announced in the spring.
