South Royalton — At long last, the Rivendell Academy girls soccer team broke through a stingy South Royalton defense. The Raptors converted a trio of chances late to beat the host Royals 3-0 on Tuesday afternoon. Scoreless through 66 minutes, Riley Thomson finally broke the South Royalton backline to put Rivendell in front, 1-0. Quenla Haehnel added a pair of goals. Thomson, Tayo Ameden and Mikayla DeBois added assists.
