Springfield, N.H., to Host Wetlands Meeting
Springfield, N.H. — A public meeting about Springfield’s wetlands is set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Town Meeting House, 4 Corners Road.
The Springfield Planning Board is looking for input to help develop a townwide wetland map and amend existing wetland regulations. The work is part of the Springfield Wetlands Project, which aims to improve existing wetland maps, simplify wetland regulations, and ensure a balance between sustaining the town’s rural identity and maintaining property owners’ reasonable use of their land.
The town received a community planning grant from New Hampshire Housing to complete the project. The Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission will service as a technical consultant to the project.
