Letter: ILEAD Offers Memoir-Writing Classes

To the Editor:

I read with interest your article on memoir writing in the Upper Valley (“Everybody Has a Story, Memoirists Prove,” June 16).

ILEAD (Institute for Lifelong Education at Dartmouth) offers many exciting courses in many subjects during the fall, winter and spring, and usually has a memoir-writing class available to those who might be interested. Friendships are formed, writing skills are honed and even if we don’t choose to share our stories during our lifetimes, we leave a legacy for our families. You can find information on the courses ILEAD offers in a circular in the Valley News before each term and on our website, www.dartmouth.edu/ilead. We would love to have you join us.
