Sally Ann Raymond
St. Albans, Vt. — Sally Ann Raymond, 75, of St. Albans, died peacefully Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Franklin County Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans.
Sally was born July 15, 1937, in Lebanon, N.H. the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys Lontine Daigle. An avid reader, Sally enjoyed crafts and also loved to quilt. An enthusiastic racing fan, she loved following NASCAR and enjoyed watching her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Sally loved watching birds in her backyard as well as the friendly rabbit that frequented her backyard.
She is survived by her children, Mark Raymond and Kim of Colorado Springs, Colo., Douglas Raymond and his fiancé, Lesley Morrison of Orlando, Fla. and Deb Howard and her husband, Chris of Isle LaMotte and Mike Raymond of St. Albans; her grandchildren, Douglas Raymond Jr., Kay Raymond, Kayla Shook and Travis, Patrick Raymond and wife, Summer, Kira and husband, Ron Shaffer, Bryanna and Daniel Raymond; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Wesley, Elijah, Liam and Lilly. She also leaves her best friend, Shirley Aiken and her husband, Everest of Georgia.
She was predeceased by her brother, William “Bill” Daigle.
As per Sally’s request there will be no funeral services, however, a graveside committal service will be held in the spring in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon, N.H.
