Lebanon, N.H. — Jean Wyckoff-Baxter, 67, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. She was born on Aug. 20, 1946, in Bristol, Conn. to the late C. Sterling and Henrietta (Castle) Wyckoff.
She attended Kents Hill School in Maine for two years and graduated from Mascoma Valley Regional High School in 1964. She was a graduate of Belknap College. She worked as a hairdresser in Hanover for Mr. Brad’s; she left Mr. Brad’s and opened her own business called Mane Street Cutters. Jean later worked in the gift shop at Alice Peck Day Hospital which she enjoyed very much. Most recently she worked and volunteered at the Lebanon Senior Center. She loved her pets and being with people.
She is survived by her son, Jason Baxter, his wife April and their children Hannah, Sterling and Levi of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Pamela Wyckoff Webster of Canaan; and various nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Peter and Henry Wyckoff.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on March 31 at the Lutheran Church of Enfield.
