Letter: Great Theater in Enfield

To the Editor:

My husband and I had the good fortune to attend the Shaker Bridge Theatre in Enfield, which is presenting the enormously funny yet thought-provoking play Miracle on South Division Street , which is playing through Dec. 22. Tom Dudzick’s story takes place in a blue-collar Buffalo neighborhood, where a family experiences a tumultuous Christmas holiday. Dudzick’s story, filled with poignant humor, gives the audience the opportunity to see the contradictions and surprises in our lives — gently suggesting that we not take ourselves too seriously and that there is purpose and value in all of us. The cast is exceptional, the set is perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a more delightful introduction to this gem of a theater. Congratulations to Shaker Bridge Theatre and thank you.
