‘Road Pitch’ Stops at WRJ Hub
White River Junction — A group of Vermont entrepreneurs, investors and business advisers will visit the Hub WRJ co-working offices on Tuesday to hear proposals from six Upper Valley entrepreneurs.
Known as “Road Pitch,” the event will is taking part from Aug. 4-7 in eight towns around Vermont. It is a project of FreshTracks Capital, a $25 million Shelburne, Vt.-based venture capital firm. The entrepreneurs scheduled to make proposals are Dancing Hawks, Fat Hat Factory, Strafford Community Solar, Fresh Air Sensor Corp., Jehshua’s Specialty Foods LLC and White River Media Center.
“We know that Vermont is rich in unique entrepreneurs, and we want to help them,” Road Pitch founder Cairn Cross said in the release. “This is a great way for entrepreneurs to establish their brand, idea, credentials, and reputation in Vermont.”
Don Mayer of Small Dog Electronics, Alan Newman of Magic Hat, and David Blittersdorf of All Earth Renewables are among the advisers who are scheduled to participate.
