Engagement: Lallier — Flowers

Hartford — Ken and Rebecca Lallier, of Hartford, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Lallier, to The Honorable Chipman Loyd Flowers, Jr., Esq.

The bride-to-be is a resident of Middletown, Delaware. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2002 and earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Arizona State University, Tempe, in 2006. She earned a master’s degree in library science from Simmons College in Boston in 2013. She is employed as director of research for The Flowers Counsel Group, LLC in Wilmington, Delaware.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of C. Jean and Chipman Loyd Flowers, of Tuskegee, Alabama. A resident of Middletown, Delaware, he graduated from Vicenza American High School in Italy in 2002 and earned bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, in 1996. Flowers received a law degree and master’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., in 2000 and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University in 2006. He is employed as the Delaware State Treasurer in Dover, Delaware.

The couple plans an October wedding in Quechee.
