‘Game of Thrones’ Season 4 Finale: Which Character Is Next to Go?

Don’t Miss

Game Of Thrones — From King Joffrey’s ill-fated wedding and the gruesome trial by combat, to last week’s mammoth clash on the Wall, Season 4 of this epic fantasy has been packed with jaw-dropping, mind-blowing moments. Now comes the season finale. Can the show top itself once again? We’d bet Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) life on it. 9 p.m. Sunday, HBO.

Other Bets

Sunday: David Tennant, who earned rave reviews for his work in Doctor Who and Broadchurch, shines once again in The Escape Artist. It’s a two-part Masterpiece Mystery! thriller that has him playing a defense lawyer known for being a legal Houdini. 9 p.m., PBS.

Monday: Tonight’s turbocharged episode of 24: Live Another Day is the 200th overall for the action franchise. But will the overworked Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) have a chance to chill out and celebrate? No way. 9 p.m., Fox.

Monday: In the Season 2 opener of The Fosters, the past comes back to haunt several characters. That’s never a good thing, but it makes for juicy family drama. 9 p.m., ABC Family.

Tuesday: Ken Burns’ latest history lesson The Roosevelts: An Intimate History won’t air in its entirety until the fall. But tonight you can get a sneak preview of the seven-part documentary about Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor. 8 p.m., PBS.

Tuesday: As Season 5 of Rizzoli & Isles opens, Jane (Angie Harmon) has more to worry about than just catching bad guys. She’s trying to hide her pregnancy from her nosy mother. 9 p.m., TNT.

Tuesday: Has Season 1 of Fargo been an absolute blast? You’re darn tootin’. Unfortunately, tonight we have to bid farewell to Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton), Lester (Martin Freeman) and the rest of the gang. 10 p.m., FX.

Wednesday: In the Season 3 finale of Melissa & Joey, Joe (Joseph Lawrence) impulsively invites his family to move in before running his plan by Mel (Melissa Joan Hart). It’s such a bad idea in so many ways. 8 p.m., ABC Family.

Thursday: The new drama Dominion is an epic supernatural tale set in the near future, when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, wages war against mankind. To which we say: Bring it, Gaby. 9 p.m., Syfy.

Thursday: In the Season 2 premiere of Rectify, Daniel’s (Aden Young) family fears the worst after learning that he was the victim of a brutal beatdown. Apparently, Daniel can leave prison behind, but not his past. 9 p.m., Sundance.

Friday: Not to be confused with Last Comic Standing, the new reality series “Funniest Wins” has aspiring comedians facing off in various challenges as they try to make people laugh. Marlon Wayans is our host. 10 p.m., TBS.

Saturday: The electrifying second season of Orphan Black ends with Sarah being forced to concede when Rachel launches her latest ploy. OK, now let’s get that Emmy nomination ready for Tatiana Maslany. 9 p.m., BBC America.
