Philippines — Aprila M. Burnor, 58 died on Monday, March 11 2013, at her home in Benguet Province, Philippines.
She was born in the Philippines on Apr. 11, 1954, a daughter of Wahat and Lolita (Miguel) Tompao.
She was married to William M. Burnor on Apr. 16,1974. She worked as a registered nurse at Mt. Ascutney Hospital for 2 years and the V.A. hospital in WRJ., Vt. for 18 years.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and The American Legion Post #25 Auxiliary. She was also a veteran of the United States Army.
She is survived by her daughter, Flora L. Eastman of Windsor, Vt., and two grandchildren, Parker A. Eastman and Cole T. Anderson both of Windsor; her mother, Lolita Tompao, of Benguet, Philippines; two sisters, Mary C. Buyagawan of Pacific, Wash., and Delta Nabus of Renton, Wash.; and two brothers, Wyatt Tompao of Los Angeles, Cal., and Godfrey Tompao of Seattle, Wash.
She was predeceased by her father, Wahat, in 1997 and her husband William, in 2003.
There will be a memorial service at a date to be announced to remember her life. Burial of her body will be in the Philippines.
