WEST LEBANON — Campion Rink bragging rights remained with the Hanover High girls hockey team on Tuesday after the Bears pinned a 4-0 defeat on Lebanon-Stevens-Kearsarge in the rivals’ shared facility.

At Thursday’s Southern Vermont high school alpine meet at the Saskadena Six Ski Area in Pomfret, Rivendell’s Allie Vogelien was the top Upper Valley competitor in the girls slalom, finishing second behind Burr & Burton’s Georgia Levitas. Vogelien had a two-run time of 1:00.58, a whisker from Levitas’ 1:00.35. Woodstock’s Finley Peterson placed sixth at 1:04.54 and teammate Annesonia Beardsley came in tenth at 1:05.20. Woodstock’s Sadie Boulbol placed 12th at 1:05.90.
