RENO, NV — Gregory P. Williams, 26, slipped the surly bonds of earth on June 21st, 2019. Greg was born in Washington, D.C. and lived in seven different states before his family moved to NH. He was active in Boy Scouts from Tiger Cub to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Greg was proud to serve in the Civil Air Patrol where he rose to rank of Cadet Lieutenant. He loved participating in search and rescue missions, learning how to fly planes and gliders, and serving at the National Air show in Oshkosh, WI.
In high school he played trumpet in the band, and participated in cross country skiing, cross country running, and tennis. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 2010, before attending the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY. Greg moved to Nevada in 2015. He was well-known for his sense of humor and quick wit. Greg enjoyed outdoor activities and all forms of games with friends.
He is greatly missed by his parents Kevin and Jill Williams of Grantham, his sister Rebecca of Concord, his brothers Kensell and Kyle of Santa Rosa, CA.
Greg's Life will be celebrated on August 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the Draper Room of the Center at Eastman, 6 Clubhouse Lane, Grantham. The family requests no flowers.
