Betty Konya and her daughter Kayla Konya both of Post Mills, Vt., say goodbye to her father Claude Thurston Sr. at the Post Mills Cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023 in Post Mills. Thurston died in January 2023, this will be the first Christmas without him, the women were there to decorate his headstone with seasonal decorations. Both visit often, on this day Kayla Konya brought her puppy Maisy for the first time. Her grandfather was an avid hunter and she knew he would have liked her hound lineage.
