The end of the harvest in Bethel

During her lunch break while working at home, Bridget Dowret, of East Bethel, Vt., picks late-season raspberries on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023. Dowret said they did not get any berries over the summer, but since September they have been picking a lot and freezing most of them. After a frost the night before, she said most would go to her two dogs because the berries were a little soft. (Valley News - Jennifer Hauck) Copyright Valley News.
