Free expungement clinic to be held July 13 in White River Junction

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — A free expungement clinic is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 13, in Windsor County, according to a news release.

Appointments are available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and can be made by calling the Vermont Attorney General’s Office’s expungement clinic line at 802-828-0033 by July 5.

Expungements erase specific convictions and dismissed charges after a certain period of time has passed. Under Vermont law, many misdemeanors, 14 different felonies and all dismissed charges can be expunged or sealed. The Windsor County clinic will be held at the Agency of Human Services building in White River Junction.
