Hartford — Jennifer Soule and Phillip Van Thiel were married on June 9, 2018, at Eldora Lodge in Golden, Colo.

Kevin Teesdale, justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony. Kimberly Soule was the maid of honor and Sam Macleod was the best man.

The wedding ceremony was at a mountain top resort with stunning views. The couple’s dogs Blacky and Edward were part of the wedding ceremony, which was attended by 120 family members and friends from all across the country. A reception followed at Stage Stop Saloon in Rollinsville, Colo.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle Soule, of Wilder, and William Soule, of Hartford. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2006 and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., in 2011.

She earned a master’s degree in education from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colo., in 2015, and is employed as an elementary school teacher at Mammoth Heights Elementary School in Parker, Colo.

The bridegroom is the son of Claudia Van Thiel, of Sheboygan, Wis., and the late Rick Van Thiel. He graduated from Kimberly High School in Appleton, Wis., in 2001 and is employed as a warehouse manager at Webster Associates in Denver, Colo.

The couple honeymooned on the West Coast and live in Denver.
