Hanover — Matthew Ambros and Haritha Dasari were married on Oct. 8, 2017, in Boston.

Sriram Rajagopalan officiated at the ceremony. Nidhi Pamidimukkala was the maid of honor. Andrew Lee was the best man. A reception was held at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology.

The celebration was a three-day blending of the cultural customs of both families. Henna artists adorned guests at the Saturday mehndi party. The marriage was sealed with the exchange of orchid garlands early Sunday morning at the astrologically auspicious moment. That afternoon, the guests, wearing traditional Indian attire, danced to the drums of the bridegroom’s baraat procession to the wedding. On Monday, guests feasted on the same Cantonese banquet dishes served at the bridegroom’s parents’ wedding.

The bridegroom is the son of Rosalind Lee and Victor Ambros, of Hanover. He graduated from Hanover High School in 1999 and earned a bachelor’s degree in genetics from Dartmouth College in 2004. He earned a law degree from Northeastern University in 2007 and is employed as a senior counsel at Foley & Lardner LLP in Boston.

The bride is the daughter of Vijaya Lakshmi Dasari and Sriramakrishniah Dasari, of Goshen, N.Y. She graduated from Goshen Central High School in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 2009. She earned a law degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., in 2013 and is employed as an associate at Davis, Malm & D’Agostine PC in Boston.

The couple honeymooned in Burlington and live in Boston.
