Update on COVID-19 and access to our West Lebanon building

Valley News management has been actively watching the situation around COVID-19 and we are committed to following the guidance put out by health officials about limiting social contact in order to slow the spread of transmission.

Effective today, we are restricting public access to our building in West Lebanon until further notice. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is the right call in the interest of the health and safety of our staff and community.

Our general phone number is 603 298 8711. As always, we have a number of alternative ways to make inquiries besides visiting our building, including:

Advertising & classifieds

The public can submit classifieds online anytime at classifieds.vnews.com (email questions to classifieds@vnews.com). Click here for further information about contacting the advertising department.

Subscriptions and circulation, including missed delivery

Subscription issues can be addressed with our customer service department at 603-298-7739 or circulation@vnews.com during regular business hours. Payments can be left in our dropbox next to the door at our front entrance. We encourage all print subscribers to activate their access to the online e-edition, an interactive PDF version of the paper product that is included in your subscription. (All subscribers additionally have access to our main website at www.vnews.com when they activate their access.)

Reporting on COVID-19

The Valley News newsroom continues to report rigorously on COVID-19 and its impact on our communities. We have been following the guidance put out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health agencies. As we continue in our duty to bring you the news, some of our staff are working remotely, and journalists in the field are taking appropriate measures to limit close contact, including putting distance between ourselves and sources, avoiding person-to-person contact such as hand-shaking, and avoiding interacting with anyone who appears sick.

As your neighbors in the Upper Valley, we understand the stress caused by COVID-19 and we will continue in our mission of providing accurate information and insights about the pandemic and public response, engaging our readers on questions you want answered (see our survey), and giving voice to the public to share its experiences.

All of our Upper Valley COVID-19 coverage is online at www.vnews.com/coronavirus and is free to access.

The best way to support our journalism is to subscribe. We thank you for your support.

For questions about our coverage, please email editor Maggie Cassidy at mcassidy@vnews.com.
