Santa Claus has started making appearances in the Upper Valley to listen to the wishes of children and pets of all ages. Here’s a list of his upcoming stops. Email additions and updates to calendar@vnews.com.

Visit with Santa
in West Lebanon

in Enfield

Holiday bazaar and cookie walk in Woodstock

Saturday, Dec. 7, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Thompson Senior Center, 99 Senior Lane.

 

Holiday gifts, handmade pottery, ornaments, jewelry, knitted and felted items, wreaths, homemade goodies, jams, jellies, pickles and more. A cookie walk, raffle and a visit from Santa. Donations of cookies and crafts welcome. All proceeds support Thompson Senior Center services. 802-457-3277.

St. Nicholas Fair
in New London

Saturday, Dec. 7, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

 

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 52 Gould Road.

 

Shop for baked goods, handmade gifts, ornaments and more, then join St. Nicholas (Santa) and his helpers for woodworking, cookie decorating and arts and crafts. Children’s activities are free. Luncheon served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 603-526-6344.

‘Tis the Season holiday celebration in Lebanon

in Claremont

Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

 

Claremont Rent-A-Center, 367 Washington St., Suite 5.

Kids, families and pets can visit with Santa and get their pictures taken.

Photos can be printed while you wait, or have the electronic version emailed. Prices are as follows: $5 for 4x6, $7 for 5x7, emailed image $7. Proceeds benefit the Sullivan County Humane Society. 603-542-3277.

Skate with Santa in White River Junction

Saturday, Dec. 14, 4:15- 5:30 p.m.

Wendell A. Barwood Arena, 431 Highland Ave.

Skate to holiday music and get a special treat from Santa. Skate rentals are available. $5 per person, or use a season pass. Children 3 and under free. “The Grinch” movie in Woodstock

Have cookies and treats with Santa, then stay for a screening of The Grinch (2018) at 3 p.m. With help from his loyal dog, Max, the green grump hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus, steal Christmas and silence the Whos’ holiday cheer once and for all. $5, 12 and under free. 802-457-3981.
