Margaret “Peg” Seamans

Grafton, N.H. — Margaret “Peg” Seamans, 67, passed away on Monday May 14, 2018.

Peg was born in Lebanon, N.H. to the late Lester H. and Avalee (Hill) Hazelton. Avalee later married Ernest Parker who Peg was very fond of.

Throughout her working career she was a registered nurse in the birthing pavilion for 45 years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

In her free time Margaret enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid animal lover. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing, splitting wood as well as her motorcycle and snowmobiling rides.

She is survived by her husband Howard “Chip” Seamans; her sister Linda Richardson and husband Robert, Tom Seamans and wife Marilynn & Elaine Stone and husband Albert, Sandra Barker and family; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers Richard (Gus) Hazelton and Leonard Parker.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours Sunday May 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, N.H. Peg’s funeral will be held on May 21 at 10 a.m. at the Ricker Funeral home in Lebanon with burial to follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Grafton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society in Memoriam of Margaret Seamans, 300 Old Route 10 Enfield, NH 03748.
