HARTLAND — Interstate 91 northbound is closed at Exit 9, the Hartland/Windsor exit, due to a tractor-trailer crash, according to Vermont transportation officials.

Nobody was injured in the crash, which was first reported about 7:30 p.m., according to a tweet from Vermont State Police. Vehicles are being detoured onto Route 5, according to VTrans.

Police tweeted at 8:46 p.m. that “closure and delays are expected to continue for some time,” asking motorists to “be patient, drive slowly (and) take alternate routes if possible.”

A photo accompanying the tweet showed a tractor trailer jack-knifed across a snowy stretch of roadway.
