BATH, N.H. — A teenage girl died in a single-vehicle crash in Bath on Sunday, and two teenage boys suffered significant injuries.

Police believe one of the boys was driving and lost control of a 2008 Honda Ridgeline around 11:50 a.m. on River Road, causing it to leave the roadway and strike a large tree with the right, rear passenger door, according to a New Hampshire State Police news release.

The girl is believed to have been seated in the rear of the vehicle at the time of the collision. She was pronounced dead on scene.

The two boys were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries. They are expected to make full recoveries, the release states.

All of the teenagers were under the age of 17.

The crash remains under investigation.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Trooper Daniel Quartulli at 603-223-8993.
