Cooling shelters open during spring heat wave

LEBANON — Lebanon opened cooling shelters on Wednesday amid a heat wave, according to the city’s website.

The city's two libraries, the airport and the senior center will be open through Friday. 

Both the Kilton Library, 80 Main Street in West Lebanon, and the Lebanon Library, downtown at 9 East Park Street, will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. 

The Upper Valley Senior Center, at 10 Campbell Street downtown, will be open from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. for senior citizens only.

The Lebanon Airport Terminal Building, 5 Airpark Road in West Lebanon, will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
