Bridgewater — Voters on Tuesday approved everything on Bridgewater’s town and school warnings, including the proposed $1.2 million town budget and the $1.65 million budget for Prosper Valley School, the elementary school shared by Bridgewater and Pomfret.

Bridgewater will be responsible for $728,000, or just less than half, of the costs for the school budget.

In addition to the budget, the Town Meeting articles included eight appropriations totaling $20,700, and a separate article asking for $15,000 to research and develop engineering plans for a new community building. The structure would include a handicap accessible meeting room, a fire station and headquarters for the rescue squad.

Bridgewater School Board member Joshua Gregg and Selectboard member Lynne Bertram were both re-elected. All of the races for town and school offices were uncontested. Of 671 Bridgewater voters on the checklist, 118 attended.
